100% Industrial! (Not Hip-Hop)

The screams could be a bit grumbleyer, and overall, the track seems to go on a bit to long (there are a few other minor details as well, such as the trancey lead... It needs to be more guitar sounding, With some gain and distortion, and maybe even lowered an octave)... almost got a 10, a Download, And a Fav... ... almost.

Ah, I can see how it could be industrial. It wasn't what I was going for, but I do enjoy industrial a lot, haha. I just said hip-hop because it was the closest genre NG had to brokenCYDE that I could find, heh. And yeah, if I'm making an industrial song I'll have to record some guitar tracks sometime. Time to bust out the old guitar, eh? lol

And I checked out your tracks. Nice stuff. Helped give me an idea of what I want the synths in the final version of this song to sound like. 5/5 them both too, lol. :3

I bet...

... at max quality, this track could push for a "best of the week"... It is that typical trancy, fancy filters, stuff that everyone seems to love here at Newgrounds, It just seems to lack a "full" sound, maybe its the production style 'cause it sounds kinda muddy/dull... But it is a very good track, I'm just not a fan of that filtery trance style, but I must give credit where it is due... Max scores.

yeah i totally agree with u. and i know what you mean about it lacking the full sound, not sure what i can do though to fix that. and yeah newground people seem to really love that commercial trancy stuff haha

I hate trance, but this track would make an awsome industrial-esk track... Wish I could change all your leads & synths around to make it sound more in the styles I enjoy. It's a good WIP though... keep on it!

It's not Trance. I only chose Trance because it was the closest there is to Handsup. Trance is rather different from this, anyway thanks for the review dewg

Not ANOTHER Basshunter Rmx :P LMAO! I like the gainy, distortedness of this track, but again, the quality seems low... I just finished reviewing that Rainbow rmx song btw ;) 5/5

but the phasers are to heavy... I see you are trying for a Basshunter sound, but the quality seems low. Not a bad track when you break it down. 5/5

[starwars jumpstyle WIP]

ok ok...

The one sided mixing style is cool... The kick doesn't seem to be as pronounced as it should in places, The robo-voice of, what I think is, "Denver in the house" and especialy the "Jumpstyle Jumpstyle" thing... I dont like it. The over-the-top distortion is Just A Bit much on a couple of the melodys, it makes it a tad harsh on the ears in spots (maybe crank it up Real loud b4 you save it to watch for overly pitchy noises, or use a slightly differant production technique). And be carefull not to make it to trancey.... Most people like the fancy, high pass, filtery work of typical "Epic Trance", But I cant stand it, It makes, what would be great electronic music, seem commerical & generic. So after listening 4+ times, I give you a 5 (for the interesting combo of genres, cause you picked a good star wars loop to work with, and just for encouragement) :)

I got some tracks up... My new one was just a child-like, pop based, melody, and some experemental drum programming, So If you check em out, Listen to the "My Mechanical Nightmares" WIP or "It's Our Little Secret" (they are my personal favs)

You could, maybe, send a pm when you feel you have reached the final product (for re-review or just to let me hear it)

oh and the reason i put the "denver in da house" and the "jumpstyle jumpstyle" in the song is because certain people tend to steal my music
and put it on other sites claiming that its theirs =p
